Freedom!

Freedom! Definitely something we take for granted. This weekend we celebrate the birth of America. A birth that was messy and had its share of pain, but as many new moms would say, “Worth it”. The child or result of the struggle is beautiful. That is what freedom is…beautiful.

I hope everyone enjoys time with family and friends, a good hotdog, and maybe even seeing fireworks in the night sky, but without sacrifice, pain, and struggle we really wouldn’t be free.

Thank you to every service man or woman who put it all on the line for the right to live freely. The right to worship without personal limitation from government mandated decrees. The right to have a place to gather called Graceland. Freedom is an awesome thing…Happy Birthday America!

The 3rd-5th grade camp was my first experience EVER at youth camp of any kind. I had a blast! What a treat it was to see Pastor Eric and Kelly serving as Head Cabin Leaders. We still love Kelly even though our cabin couldn’t seem to pull out the win for the Golden Plunger. I would encourage Adults and children alike to attend youth camp. It was a true blessing to see so many children go after God without reserve. I hope to attend next year as I am certain that it will only get better!

Very true, freedom does not come free.

Well said! I think I really used to take it all for granted before we had a very close friend enlisted and serving and it is something that was constantly on our minds because of him. I am so thankful and blessed to live in this country!
