Camp
It doesn’t get any better than this! Swimming pools, slip-n-slide, horseback riding, and canoes…not to mention pillow fights, camp food, and more candy than one human being should be allowed to consume. I have had a long, tiring, but fun-filled week at Summer Camp for 3rd – 5th graders. Besides the obvious fun, it was great to see over 400 children worshipping and praising God. I attended North GA youth camp when I was a kid and many of my earliest memories come from the old Doraville campground. During those years I met some great friends, won a few trophies and ribbons, and experienced the life changing presence of God. Why not enjoy a little summer camp for yourself this week? Start a pillow fight, take a hike near a lake, stay up way too late laughing or pour a Pixie-stick into a Slush Puppie and drink it down with a Sour Straw until you puke…Long Live Camp!

I always wanted to go to camp, but I went to a really small church as a kid and none of my friends ever went. Maybe I can tag along with Noah sometime. Love having the blog btw!
Sounds like the boys really enjoyed themselves. I agree, there is something amazing about church camp, not just the fun games, friends, and candy; but rather the supernatural presence of God during the worship services! Church Camp was such an exciting experience when I was a kid…I loved it! It was definitely one of my favorite past times. Hopefully next year I can go as a camp counselor…you’re never too old for camp fun!
Awesome post! I went to camp twice…it wasn’t my cup of tea but my ideal camp would be “reading” camp ha ha!!!!!!
I see Noah LOVING this before we know it!
What a great picture! I bet everyone young and not so young had a blast…
I remember the youth camp days at the Doraville campground…great memories!
